Overview: The inspiration for Vend a Friend was simple. Our prospects and clients told us we had great chemistry. Plus, as a general rule, we like to work with people we like. To us, the world was made up of two groups of people: friends of PJA, and friends we haven't met yet. So, we thought, what if we could demonstrate our ability to make friends with just about anybody?

In the lobby of our building, we used an iPad app to initiate a quick (and fun!) five question survey. Through the survey, visitors learned about different PJA peeps. In just a few minutes, we'd introduced you to one of our staff with whom you share a number of traits – and our bright yellow vintage Vend a Friend vending machine spit out a small gift that symbolized a characteristic you likely shared with that person.

My role was to oversee the program and I managed the internal survey development, data analysis/segmenting, app design and build.
